Version 7 - Unhandled Exception Has Occurred
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error an attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Configuration system failed to initialize."
When I hit the button to show details, this is what appeared at the beginning of a very long error message:
See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Solution: One of the auto generated config files used to track screen size and location somehow got corrupted on your computer. Just delete the file. It will get regenerated the next time you run the application.
In this case the corrupted file is the one specified at the beginning of the detailed error message:
Just click on Computer and then click on the C drive and then click on Users and then click on the user's name (in this case it is "Peter") and then click AppData and then click Local. Delete the file Thayer_Birding_Software,_
Do NOT delete the folder named Thayer Birding Software - the one without a comma or underscore. Close the birding program and then reopen it. It should work fine now.
The program should now run without any problem.
